You will be responsible for stabilising and improving warehouse operations, primarily supporting Japanese corporate clients.
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and on-site activities Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are well understood, implemented, and consistently followed on the shop floor Supervise and manage local warehouse staff (direct reports: fewer than 10, mainly Malaysian staff) Handle Japanese client communications, including service quality control and complaint management Identify and implement operational improvements, including cost-reduction initiatives Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders Support monthly and quarterly operational reporting |

3–5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics operations Solid understanding of basic warehouse workflows (inbound, outbound, inventory control, manpower allocation, etc.) Strong communication skills to work effectively with on-site staff Native-level Japanese proficiency (required for close and frequent communication with Japanese clients) Comfortable handling Japanese customer requirements and expectations
Preferred Experience with freight forwarders, warehouse operators, or manufacturer logistics functions Experience in SOP implementation, operational improvement, or cost optimisation Working-level English communication skills Prior work experience in Singapore or Multi-national environment |
