Virtual / AI recruiters screen candidates for job
Singapore HR trend
Recently, especially in this year 2018, we hear lots of news that companies, both in Japan and Singapore, started using the virtual / AI system to their business operation.
A few months ago, DBS has launched virtual bank recruiter named 'Jim' to work on the bank's hiring process.
DBS HR management is happy with the outcome: Jim can save up to 40 hours monthly otherwise spent on manual processing.
Jim helps recruiters review resumes, collect applicants' responses for pre-screening questions, and conduct psychometric profiling assessments on candidates - the article reports.

Being satisfied with Jim, James Loo, head of talent acquisition group, group human resources at DBS Bank says "Previously manual processes – such as posting screening questions, conducting psychometric assessments and tests – have now been fully automated. This frees up our recruiters' time so they can take on higher value work".
Another online articled titled "Startups boost HR tech momentum in Singapore" introduces other cases that AI can do for HR, such as a data-driven employee appraisal system and dashboard displaying an organisation's performance as it aims to capitalise on the growing recognition of the business value of data-driven people management and analytics.
