NUS Law Graduates Most Highly Paid In Singapore

A graduate employment survey carried out by individual universities in Singapore revealed that Law graduates from the National University of Singapore (NUS) are most highly paid among local university graduates from NUS, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore Management University (SMU).

The survey, conducted by universities for 2010 graduands, showed that law graduates from NUS were paid the highest with an average gross monthly salary of $4,770. This was higher than for graduates from NUS Medical school.

Graduates with honours from SMU's Information and Systems Management course, a four-year-programme, have the potential to earn about $4,547 a month - the second highest in the survey. NUS Medicine graduates came in third with an average monthly salary of $3,852. Notably, NUS Medicine was ranked 1st in Asia, and ranked 18th globally in the recent QS World University Rankings by Subjects.

The worst paid were graduates from NUS's School of Applied Science, drawing an average of $2,427 a month. The top ten list of the highest and lowest graduate average salaries in 2010 as below (figures in brackets denotes top 75% percentile) :-
